So if you’re just looking for a way to make smoothies I would go the cheapest route and then buy the e series. I absolutely love my ascent vitamix with the 48 ounce container, but it was an extra $145 expense. I don’t know if it will work well for making smoothies. The only one on your list that comes with a 48 ounce container is the 7500, but it’s a dry container meant to blend gains into flour. I use the 48 ounce container to make my smoothie, then I pour it into the blend cup and take it to go. I ended up buying the 48 ounce container to use with mine and it’s perfect for making single smoothies and almost anything else I need.

And I absolutely adore it as a perfect to go container. It is however, great for making small batches of dressing though. I have to take it off and shake it around in the middle of blending to break the air bubble around the blades to get it to continue.

Once everything is put in it and blended the cup is only half full. The blending cup the venturist comes with is just not great for smoothies. I have the acsent series (same accessories as the venturist) so I can’t speak to to accessories the e series or 7500 comes with. In fact, I have only used the 64 ounce container just a couple times when I’m making large batches of something because it’s huge. If you are making single smoothies for yourself, it’s going to be very difficult in this container because it’s so large. The e series and the 7500 series are not compatible with the venturist/ascent smart accessories.Īll of them are coming with a low profile 64 ounce container it looks like now (the classic 64 ounce was much narrower and you could make smaller batches in it). And the ascent series is the newer series that Vitamix is building out more “smart” accessories for, like the food processor attachment. The venturist is Costco’s version of the ascent series (Costco gets its own exclusive models for some reason). All of them are going to easily make soft smoothies.

There are no major differences in the actual blending quality and I believe the actual engine in all of them is essentially the same. As far as quality difference between them it’s basically design, a tiny bit of difference in loudness (but don’t fool you’re self they’re all just loud bc they’re powerful), and the features they offer.
